This morning daddy took us out for a run. This isn’t anything new but this morning I got extra tired. I usually pull him on his roller blades around the neighborhood. All the neighbors love to watch me pull him along. Sister Sesi just runs along. She doesn’t help pull any. Anyway, this morning after we got back I was super wore out and after a little water I decided to pass out. Well, I wasn’t exactly passed out, but as you can see from the picture I could pass for being out cold. Here’s a great pic of my new bowls I told you about. You can see, next to Sesi’s bowls they are HUGE. Don’t get me started on the huge thing again. Another pic I wanted to share is below. I thought it was interesting enough to take a picture of and share. If you know what it is, or what it does, please feel free to help out. It looks like an alien but it didn’t move, didn’t really smell, and was cold to the nose. Help a puppy out!

My sister and I had the most fun today! Daddy took us over to a friend’s house for a pool party! I didn’t get in the pool because of my ear infection but they have this fenced in back yard and we got to run around all afternoon! It was great! There was this mud pit on the side of the house that was fabulous! As you can see I had a pretty good time rolling around in the mud. Daddy had to give both of us a bath when we got home. While my ear issue has not been resolved, I did receive some very strong meds to help ease the itching and pain. The doctor said I have a bacterial and fungal infection in both ears. It’s kind of embarrasing to admit but us dogs are prone to these kinds of things. Daddy has to put drops in my ears twice a day for the next week and he has some special ear wash for after baths. They used it on me at the doctor’s office earlier today and I must say it wasn’t the most comfortable experience getting your ears doused with fluid. The worst part about it is they held my head so I couldn’t do my shake shake! Boy I gave it to them when they finally let go though. I feel like I shook my head for 5 minutes strait! We also got a 6 month supply of the white label Interceptor (heart worm prevention). That’s right, I’m now in the 50lb+ pill category. Sister Sesi is still using the green label pills, haha. She’s so small tho. Super tiny if you will. I’m big. Getting bigger every day. Ok, enough about myself.

Guess what was waiting at the door when we got home!?!?!?!!? My food!!! There is this GREAT local business that delivers my food to me at home for free! Well we pay for the food, but the delivery is free. The site is http://orlandopetpantry.com and it’s so cool! I just go online when I’m running low on food and order up me a new 33lb bag of Eagle Pack Giant Breed Special Puppy Formula. I get the Giant Breed because I’m half way to being a GIANT! Oh, so check this out, they also threw in two new toys for sis and I! Thank you Orlando Pet Pantry!! You can see my new bowls in the background. They’re elevated so I don’t get a sore neck when I’m eating and drinking.

Well, off to getting my ears doused with fluids. At least I’m not going nuts anymore!

Between feeling guilty for not updating my page and my left ear driving me crazy, I felt it necessary to post an update.

My ear. It itches and hurts like crazy! If I shake my head just right, I can get my hear to flop over, then I look at it in the mirror and my left ear is red and appears to be oozing?? My other ear looks to be normal skin color but that’s not the one that hurts. I try shaking my head over and over and it will make the itching go away for a few seconds, but then it comes back and I have to shake shake shake again. Daddy scheduled an appt with the doctor and we’re leaving in less than an hour. I would have called myself but my phone ear is the one that is hurt and I’m not used to using my right ear for phone conversations. I’ll update later and let you know how that goes (the Dr. visit that is).

The other day I was out in the back yard and I started running toward some strange sound and typically I’m tied to a line and I can only run so far. Instead, my collar snapped and I was free!!! I didn’t really have an urge to run away. Besides, daddy had treats in his pocket so I wasn’t gonna go far anyway. I’ve been getting lots of treats lately. I guess I’ve been a good boy. Afterall, I am going on 9 months old.

That leads to me my next topic of conversation. Well I guess it’s not really a conversation since I’m writing this down and there is no 2 way communication. Anyway, I am now breaking the 50lb mark! I’m about halfway to where I think I’m going to end up but it’s hard to predict. I hope I’ll end up around 100lbs when it’s all said and done but I’ve got probably another 9 months of growth before I’m full grown.

Something that has been making me nervous. I’ve overheard mommy and daddy talking about some school they want to send me to. I’m not sure how to feel about that. Am I not doing a good job learning and stuff? Do they just want to get rid of me? How long will I be gone for? Does my sister get to come too? So many questions!!!?!??? Will somebody talk to them for me? I’m scared.

Side thought, do you think I should get a twitter account? I was thinking I could twitter my updates throughout the day. May not be very interesting but hey, I’m a dog. What do you want from me. Let me know what you think.

Lately I’ve been doing work on my page but it’s not been because I wanted to necessarily. The past week or so I’ve been getting more and more spam comments to my page. I guess my page is finally ranking higher and higher in the search engines so I’m becoming a target for spammers. Fortunately I have my comments set to moderate so I have to approve them all. That means you don’t have to worry about seeing any of the spam. It’s all stupid stuff anyway. Nothing good like get $2,000,000 for helping some Nigerian claim his inheritance or whatever that stuff is. It’s just been annoying to get an email each time it happens (up to a couple dozen a day now) and have to go in and mark the comment as spam so it doesn’t show up on the site. Tonight I installed a plugin that should stop the submissions before they are submitted. I guess we’ll see! Oh, now that Mommy and Daddy are married, I should have more access to the laptop. Daddy was using it a lot doing stuff for the wedding and after-the-fact with pictures and stuff. You can see their pictures at http://dylanandgayle.com and click on the photos link.
