What’s with these people???
Wednesday, March 18th, 2009Lately I’ve been doing work on my page but it’s not been because I wanted to necessarily. The past week or so I’ve been getting more and more spam comments to my page. I guess my page is finally ranking higher and higher in the search engines so I’m becoming a target for spammers. Fortunately I have my comments set to moderate so I have to approve them all. That means you don’t have to worry about seeing any of the spam. It’s all stupid stuff anyway. Nothing good like get $2,000,000 for helping some Nigerian claim his inheritance or whatever that stuff is. It’s just been annoying to get an email each time it happens (up to a couple dozen a day now) and have to go in and mark the comment as spam so it doesn’t show up on the site. Tonight I installed a plugin that should stop the submissions before they are submitted. I guess we’ll see! Oh, now that Mommy and Daddy are married, I should have more access to the laptop. Daddy was using it a lot doing stuff for the wedding and after-the-fact with pictures and stuff. You can see their pictures at http://dylanandgayle.com and click on the photos link.
